Chris Blake
BA, Howard University

Chris Blake is an experienced professional with over thirteen years of experience participating in audit engagements and management consulting for over 35 organizations. The services provided to these organizations included financial and compliance audits for state and local governments, not-for-profit or for-profit organizations; healthcare entities; and educational institutions. He is proficient in U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Government Auditing Standards, ERISA regulations, DOL regulations, Internal Revenue Code (IRC), the Office of Management and Budget OMB Circulars and Federal Acquisition Regulations. He is also knowledgeable­ in current accounting standards relating to financial statement presentation and reporting.

 

Currently, Chris has changed his focus to providing consulting and accounting services for start-up organizations, established organizations in need of special projects, audit preparation, and providing services for established organizations in need of accounting services as either a new pair of eyes or an enhancement to their current operations. Serving his clients and community is his top priority.
