Enabling great organizations and people to thrive has been the cornerstone of Chris’s work over the past ten years. During this time, Chris has advised or supported government agencies, non-profits, startups, and scaling companies over the past ten years. Most recently, Chris served as Director of Business Operations and General Counsel of a growth consulting firm, leading its human resources, finance, compliance/legal, and process improvement functions.
Working with organizational leaders, Chris has established or overhaul critical business functions – including human resources – and has spearheaded cross-functional initiatives focused on people and culture, knowledge management, financial controls, and information sharing. Chris leverages his public policy, legal, and business experience, to help organizations not just manage their risks but also capitalize on opportunities and create an effective and fulfilling place to work for team members. Whether in the for- or non-profit sectors, Chris effectively manages projects and coordinates process/document flow between key stakeholders, freeing up leaders to focus on more strategic questions for their organization.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and the George Washington University, where he received a BA in Political Science (Public Policy Focus). Chris is also an MBA candidate at Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Chris clerked for the Honorable Judge Raymond A. Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Chris is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia (inactive) and the District of Columbia.
