Meet the Team
Chief of Staff
MBA, Simmons School of Management
Sarah May has spent much of her career supporting and liaising with executives, elected officials and boards. She prides herself on being a trusted colleague and adviser to strong leaders across the nonprofit and government entities for which she has worked.
For the better part of the last decade, Sarah has worked in the education and healthcare sectors, supporting leading organizations in their respective fields. Sarah’s focus has been
in non-profit development, building external partnerships, internal and external communications, and managing and leading teams through change and strategic planning.
Sarah began her career on Capitol Hill, working in the legislative office of then-Senator Joe Biden. She then spent a few years working on both national and statewide political
campaigns. Following her 5 years in government and politics,
Sarah decided she wanted to be a change agent for nonprofit organizations that were committed to working on
behalf of marginalized communities and fighting injustices.
Sarah is a graduate of Wheaton College, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science; and the Simmons School of Management in Boston, where she earned her M.B.A. Sarah
recently moved to the Bay Area (from Philadelphia) and is enjoying the persistent sunshine and warmer winter weather with her husband and two young kids.
