Vasco has always had a passion for positively impacting his community through business & entrepreneurship. He is the CEO of JANO Technologies, Inc. which develops and maintains software for criminal justice institutions. Most recently, Vasco was also the Executive Director of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, leading the Chicago efforts for the national initiative in partnership with the City Colleges of Chicago. In this role, Vasco and his team deliver practical business education and business support services to small business owners throughout the Chicagoland area. Previously, Vasco was a manager in the Strategy & Operations practice at Deloitte Consulting with a focus on supply chain improvement and operating model redesign. Before that, he spent five years as a business development executive for Razor & Tie, a marketing, music and media company.
He has business acumen and experience crosses multiple sectors including financial services, industrial manufacturing, non-profit, and government. Vasco serves as a business mentor for the StartUp Chile incubator program and currently sits on the advisory boards of several organizations: Bethel New Life (Economic Development NGO), KDM Engineering (Electrical Engineering Services), One Stock One Future (Education Non-Profit), FitBiomics (Probiotic Manufacturing Startup)
Vasco is an MBA graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He also holds a master’s degree in Music Business from New York University (New York, NY) and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rice University (Houston, TX).
